A note about T-Mobile exchanges - if you have an old model handheld such as a Toshiba Pocket PC, T-Mobile may not be able to provide replacements or repairs for these handhelds because their manufacturers do not make them anymore.

T-Mobile is known for the first nationwide GSM network, and the first nationwide GPRS service. Like Sprint PCS, their network operates only in the PCS band (1900 MHz), and have no analog network (although T-Mobile does offer extensive GSM 850 roaming.) T-Mobile offers EDGE high-speed data over most of their network. Germany's Deutsche Telekom AG bought VoiceStream in June 2001 and re-branded it T-Mobile USA in the 2nd half of 2002. T-Mobile is Deutsche Telekom's global wireless brand.
